Lego Club - 2/15/11
Today's winning theme was "Movies"! We had some pretty impressive creations being built during our meeting. Check out the slideshow to see some of them!
T-shirts will be ordered on March 1st, so there are only a few days left to get your $5 turned in. Please stop by my room any time to drop it off!
There is no vote for the theme for the next meeting.....we have a special challenge lined up for you! If you want a hint about the challenge, unscramble the word in the "Challenge Hint" area on the right side of the page!

Snow days!
Hopefully you were outside building something like these on your days off!
Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 15th. Vote for your favorite theme in the poll on the right side of the page! I am accepting money for t-shirts until the end of February. Lego Club Meeting 1/11/11
The club members constructed some pretty amazing creations this week. It was a close vote, but the winning theme ended up being "Underwater". Our creations this week included an underwater cave and a couple of different submarines. There was even an underwater city that had "seahorses"!
The orders for our club t-shirts will be place the first week in February, so if you are interested in a "Brickmaster" shirt, please bring your money ($5) in by the end of this month.
IMPORTANT: There are some changes about to occur in our club. We are changing our meeting dates beginning in February. Starting then, we will be meeting only twice a month. The meetings will take place on the FIRST and THIRD Tuesdays of each month. So that you can plan ahead, here are the dates of our meetings from now until the end of the year: February 1 and 15, March 1 and 15, and April 5 and 19.
We will still meet each Tuesday during this month.

Today was a special day in Lego Club because one of our Brickmasters had a birthday to celebrate! Tyler's mom was awesome enough to send in THREE cakes all shaped like Lego bricks! Check out the pictures in our slideshow!
We did a "free build" today and the group built some pretty impressive things! We talked about our new shirts we are ordering and the group was reminded to bring in their $5 by the end of the month in order to purchase a shirt.
